On March 24th, Wubbzy will be making a debut on DVD, once again. Children (and parents too), grab an eye patch and prepare to set sail with Wubbzy, Widget, Walden and the rest of the Wuzzleberg crew. Wubbzy heads to the high seas as the hit animated pre-school series Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! returns to DVD with the new 82 minute release Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! Pirate Treasure.

So what can parents expect from this new, 82-minute release? Pirates Treasure includes five fun filled episodes, a never before seen bonus episode, music video, jukebox song, coloring pages and printable activities.

Wubbzy, a fun, lovable and curious little guy loves to play with his friends Widget and Walden in the wackly ‘ol town of Wuzzleberg. Walden is a scientist who tries to think up solutions and Widget likes to build- which is how she comes up with several nifty inventions (Super Suction Cup Bazooka or Sonar-Radar All-in-One People Detector). No matter what these fun-loving trio encounters, they stick together- finding a solution and to sing a song about what they have learned during their adventures together!

Episode Summaries

* Pirate Treasure- Wubbzy finds a pirate map and Walden and Widget join him as he searches for lost treasure. After they have lots of fun adventures sailing the bounding main and fighting off Snappity-Snap turtles, Wubbzy and the rest of his crew discover their real treasure was the fun they had just pretending to be pirates.

* Wubbzy in the Woods – While camping, Wubbzy goes to the pond to catch some speckled flying frogs and finds himself totally lost. As he wanders down one trail after another, getting scared as it grows darker, Walden and Widget send out a speckled flying frog to find him.

* Walden on the Beach – While Wubbzy and Widget are having a great time swimming in the ocean, Walden stays far away, up on his blanket. When a trapped Dolly-dolphin is in trouble, all Walden has to do is swim out to save her. Forced to reveal that he can’t swim, Wubbzy and Widget help Walden face his fears and the Dolly-dolphin is saved.

* The Grass is Always Plaider – Our three heroes are bored with Wuzzleburg – everything’s the same here! They travel to the nearby city of Plaidville, where everything is plaid. But after the initial excitement of seeing something different, they realize that being plaid can be boring after a while, too. Maybe Wuzzleburg isn’t so dull after all.

* Goo-Goo Grief- Walden’s playing of his Hoopty Horn brings a strange elephant-like creature to his door. Widget builds a horn-blowing machine to entertain the Goo-Goo while trying to figure out its identity. But when Wubbzy plays kickity-kick ball with it, they wind up wrecking the machine and now both the Goo-Goo and Walden are crying. Only the sound of a Hoopty Horn from a nearby circus solves the mystery of the Goo-Goo. The bonus episodes are:

* Everything’s Coming up Wubbzy -Widget decides to build a special Wow Wow Wonder Hat that will make whoever wears it just like Wubbzy. First Walden drops his books and starts running around with wild energy. Then the hat bounces on the Mailman’s head, then it goes to the Policeman, and then a dog.everybody’s getting Wubbzy Fever! Wubbzy realizes that maybe it’s a good thing everybody isn’t like him. Never Before Seen:

* Save the Wuzzly! – Wubbzy and Daizy find a family of wuzzly bears living happily in a bambooboo tree in Wuzzleburg Forest. But to their surprise, the trees are being cut down to make a new playground for the kids. Walden explains that wuzzly bears need to live in trees where they can chew on leaves and bark. So where will the wuzzly bears live? Wubbzy races to stop the treecutter’s saw, and suddenly has a brainstorm – why can’t the playground be made out of trees?
