Text Based Coupons
My mother is a huge fan of coupons. Before we would go grocery shopping, she would also cut out coupons from the Sunday papers and separate them into little Ziploc bags. When I got married, I vowed to never use coupons, because “I just didn’t need them.” I had the joys of the military commissary, where prices are much cheaper and I can save a bundle in the warehouse sales. But, after doing some shopping myself and realizing that milk and meats are constantly fluctuating in prices, I had to do something to save some money. The great thing about the military commissary is, they offer coupons. They have a section where coupons are cut out for everyone to benefit from. Most are for just military stores, but some are consumer coupons. Although this is wonderful for military families, other people do not have the opportunity or access to these stores to use their coupons. Therefore, one day, I decided to get the Sunday paper and cut coupons out myself. It was a task and very time consuming. I would get my little Ziploc bags and start to separate my coupons by food products and personal hygiene. The vow I made had been broken. I was now my mother. I was now the person in the store holding up places in aisles, searching for that one coupon that would save me fifty-five cents on peanut butter. I have now discovered that I no longer have to spend the time cutting out coupons, or taking up space in aisles. I can now receive coupons via text message. That’s right folks, you can now take the opportunity to use your phone for some good use! If you join Ping Mobile’s Ping Rewards, you will receive coupons and vouchers directly to your phone. You will still save a bundle at the register and can enjoy the freedom of shopping without a stack of paper coupons in your purse.
