As the Butter Churns

Once in a while we like to take the time to highlight readers blogs we enjoy or fabulous blogs we just stumbled upon. Think of our spotlight as an advertisement of a blog like this one is. One of those blogs is As The Butter Churns. This blog is not only entertaining but the pictures and videos are adorable. You start to get engulfed in the writers life. In the writers own words her blog is:

The story of a city girl who quit her job packed her bags and moved her family from Los Angeles to a farm in rural Washington to start an American History camp for kids. Things did not go exactly as planned. There are a full range of characters and exploits. Tune into see if the oxen run down the road again, if ten-year-old Henry remembers to wear shoes to school instead of slippers and how the goslings and Miracle the wonder donkey are doing. Will Grandpa Horn leave it all and play jazz on the streets of Paris? Find out on As The Butter Churns

I definitely have bookmarked it. The writers wit keeps you wanting to read more, even if she isn’t updating fast enough you will just keep going through the previous articles and wanting to know more about life to a big-city gal on a farm. I know I couldn’t do it. I have to say that this is definitely is a must keeper. The continuous pictures from cuddly to big and hairy. I have to say I learned a lot of things just by reading a few bits and pieces of your blog about animals I really didn’t know. I thoroughly enjoyed the blog and the author has a knack for taking the perfect picture I personally think.
