Review: Halsea Cosmetic Bag
This beautiful, little, reddish, cosmetic (I prefer toiletries) bag came into my possession because my darling daughter told me I could use it for the 4-day getaway I went on recently. I really don’t use much make-up so instead I put other bathroom items into this bag such as Q-tips, toothbrush, floss, etc. It was sturdy, roomy, and had a good plastic lining; the handles were also well made.
It was very chic, and I never use the word chic. It just popped right out of my fingertips while writing this review. Yup, chic it is.
Sally Bartz, owner and head designer says this about her company:
“I’d like for someone to see a Halsea item, and wonder if it was a hand-me-down from mom’s groovier days, or if it’s something new and special,” says Sally. “If Lilly Pulitzer epitomized an era in Palm Beach, I’d like for Halsea to tell a story of a classic but relaxed old-school California.”
Personally, I’m not that savvy with any designer to say “Oh! There’s a Halsea!!” but who cares? This was a groovy little bag and shhhh, don’t tell my daughter that I’m keeping it.
Price of bag $55Â and currently available in “Ocean Teal” and “Bonfire Brown”
