Optimizing Your Site with Subdomains
One of the ways to optimize your site is introducing sub domains. Sub domains are great for when you want to increase the cash flow of your site, along with the over all visitors to general domain. Sub domains are a great way to add more unique content to your website, even if you aren’t optimizing it for earning potential but trying to build more interactivity for your website.
Sub domains can be created two ways: domain.com/sub or sub.domain.com through your domains control panel. I use CPanel and I prefer it since I find it to be the easiest for me. If you have a reseller you can create subdomains through your reseller and give them their own individual cpanel (this will also bring overall hits to your domain but it will not effect your Alexa ranking) to run separate sites or allow someone else to completely run their own individual site off of the main stem domain.
If you do not have a reseller and want to boost your over all stats and alexa rankings, I suggest making a domain.com/sub and creating a sub.domain.com to forward to your domain.com/sub
This will increase overall stats and Alexa rankings. You can easily install an additional wordpress account then create the sub domain separately if this is your intended idea.
Your web host should have tips and how-to guides readily available. You can also do a search for them just as easily. If you do not have domain and are looking to purchase one and web hosting I recommend the following sites:
namenova.com - domain names
godaddy.com – domain names
tranxactglobal - personal server
e-starr.com – webhosting
skye-host.com - webhosting
hostarcadia.com – webhosting

Interesting concept with the sub domains effecting alexa rankings
I don’t get it. Then again I’m always lost.
