It’s been three plus months since I posted my “What’s The Big Secret” article that got a lot of feedback and hits. I promised to let everybody know if I acquired the million dollars. My follow-up is a few weeks overdue because I wanted to let you all know in the most concise way possible.

No, I did not get one million dollars in cash. However, if that were the end of my story why are there more words in this article? Here’s what I learned: you cannot place a time limit on the Universe because it’s a process of learning that we each must go through. But I wanted to give it a whirl, to put it out there. Am I even a tad embarrassed, or ashamed? Not on your life! And here’s why: so much has happened for me during the past 90 days – much more than I could have ever imagined. Do I contribute it to The Law of Attraction? Why of course I do. My spiritual growth has been absolutely amazing.

• My recipe website www.bestkeptrecipes.net has grown and is taking on a whole new look.
• I dropped 30 pounds and am on my way to dropping the other 30.
• My husband and I are now Consultants for a fantastic, healthy, full-body, vitamin & mineral enriched internal cleansing program. A program that is endorsed by Dr. John Gray of Mars vs. Venus fame, and Jack Canfield of the Chicken Soup for the Soul books. Not only has it helped us drop the weight, (my husband’s dropped 35 pounds) we’ve also stopped eating and drinking junk and have become much healthier and stronger.
• These things combined to bring about our new website named www.bestwayoflife.net which is in the process of incorporating all manner of things.

Some of you may be thinking that this is just a cop out, that I’m making excuses, but here’s the thing: four days after posting that article, Bob Proctor’s team (Bob’s a major contributor on The Secret DVD) contacted me to join his year long study group. Everything is done by mail, internet, telephone, etc. and what a great learning experience it would be. I was flabbergasted! I love listening to and reading Bob, but at that time the funds to do this were just not there. I needed the monies by the end of July so I sent up my prayer to the Heavens knowing that if I’m supposed to take this course then the money will come into my life. Okay, so I wasn’t supposed to take the course. On I trudged, with an open mind and with open palms saying, “Guide me”.

• I was contacted by a successful internet writer and asked to do some ghost writing for a particular website. Not a million dollars in cold hard cash – yet – but its fun and a good learning experience.
• I received a hefty raise at work, and have more freedom in my job, plus I work less than my usual 40 hours per week.
• We are now able to purchase a piece of land near my old stomping grounds, then one day in the not too distant future we’ll be building our dream house. The Universe always provides and I trust it will.
• I feel and look better, and the enormous list of reading material that has presented itself to me is just amazing. One thing leads to another and another and another and life is good. It’s all good.
• Yes, upon arising each day I declare my gratitude to the Universe by saying thank you. I say thank you for my health, wealth, and effortless abundance. I also declare that riches of all kinds are drawn to me frequently, and I mean it.

Sifting through all my reading and searching for truthfulness and answers, I now know that there are several “Universal Laws” which include The Law of Economics and The Law of Karma. Numerous authors have hinted that there are five laws, including the Law of Attraction. I can only figure out the three mentioned above and I’m also learning about The Law of Tithing, but that may fall under the economics area. So, if you know of others please inform me. This is great stuff and I am a full-fledged believer. But I was a believer before I saw The Secret; it was just a different marketing package.

I may not have received an actual million dollars in cold, hard cash, (yet!) but I am receiving a million bucks worth of education about attracting the abundances to me. Abundance covers not only money wealth, but an abundance of health, good relationships and peaceful, financial freedom.

There are other articles floating around out there about how this stuff doesn’t work, blah, blah blah. And I just recently read an article where a woman lists what she wants and one of the things is multiple orgasms. Well, if that’s what she wants out of the whole Universe, why not buy some batteries? I’m not trying to sound ugly or defensive, but there’s a huge, beautiful world out there that perhaps we need to be grateful we are a part of, especially if you live in a country where you have freedom. Freedom comes in many forms. And yes, if that’s what she chooses to ask for than she will receive. Remember the 3 steps: ask, believe, and receive. But since she is the master of her fate (by law of attraction) then she can have her multiples faster with a trip to her local Radio Shack. The Universe will not begrudge her anything she requests.

If you’re not getting what you “bargained” for in this life, at this particular moment, please try to remember that YOU placed yourself where you are. Your today is where you thought or continually keep thinking yourself to be. Change the way you look at things, and the things you look at change. I believe it was Dr. Wayne Dyer that said that and how right he is.

Most of us feel that it’s someone else’s fault why things happen to us, and that others are to blame. That’s the easy way out; it removes responsibility on our own part to get things done – to move the energy. And we can do it; it is what we do because we are creators. Personally, I am on my way to creating an even more fabulous life for me and mine. I love my life and I keep improving it and I am working it, and I am doing it and I’m enjoying the ride.
