MomAgenda – Organizes even me!

When I first heard about the momAgenda organizers, I was at the website of our very own Domestic Diva. I was thinking, “What is that?”

I have seen other brands of organizers in person; a friend of mine has it but it wasn’t chic or cute. Yes you can put the face of your child on the front, but to me, thats not professional. Granted, moms love their kids, but I wanted to find something that was versatile to be family-friendly, but can also take into the board room, flip open, and sort out my schedule. Some people don’t think pink is that choice, however, I do. I think we should embrace the pink, or fuschia, in the case of momAgenda. Trust me, we need to embrace it. The design is amazing.

I received my momAgenda in the mail and decided which one is more ‘me’. I prefer the larger one because I have large handwriting and I am less likely to lose a giant one. I had to loosen my grip on the chocolate one, since chocolate is one of my favourite colors. So I packed that off to one of my writers, who owns her own business and runs a family of 2 kids and a husband. She’s a busy bee. I wanted her opinion of how well it worked in her daily life.

There are some great points to this Agenda. It has 2 ribbons that will hold the place of your monthly calender view as well as your weekly calender view. I found this to be an exceptional resource. I hated sifting through my old ones trying to do both. I am less likely to use the weekly one, but I am giving it a go and trying to be more descriptive so I can keep track of the tasks I assign my assistant and we don’t end up doing the same work.

I brought this to my offline job and it fits nicely in any drawer; I was definitely envied at work. It’s priced nicely at $45 + shipping and handling and is good from August 2007 to December 2008, which works out perfect for the school year. The “momEssentials” which is the address and phone book area, is removable, which was a major plus, since to me, that is the most annoying thing ever when transferring year after year. I am not a refill kinda gal.

I received the mini momAgenda in the mail the other day from Amanda. I have to say I was excited. I thought it was cute but its a little too thick for me. It didn’t have as much room as I had hoped for phone numbers. I did happen to think the online resource tool was cool and actually useful. I would say they need to see what they can reduce so it wont be as thick for the smaller one, and expand the size of the phone book with more room. This is of course the draw back for all smaller planners, not just the momAgenda of course.

Aside from these two agendas there are several other products you can get from momAgenda.com. You should definitely check it out!

They offer free printables for those who either need to get organized this very instant and can’t wait. This is actually smart because you get to try it out before you buy it! Just print it and you can see how well it works for you! Even if you don’t have kids they offer a non family oriented one. Which is good, even though Fil has kids and they live with their mothers I use the kids section to coordinate my multi-projects. I treat them like they are my babies!

They also have one more product I wanted to mention. Their Kitchen Folio. Which is absolutely amazing. It has everything from baby sitters notes, school schedules, sport schedules, menus and more.

momAgenda is Jammies Approved!!
