Mattel Issues Another Recall

Mattel Issues Recalls

Since August 1st, Mattel has issued four consumer recalls, three issued today, for products from
China that could cause a potentially dangerous hazard, either from dangerous parts or lead paint.

After a large recall recently of pet food manufactured with product from
China, an article posted on MarketWatch.com, Mattel Recalls China-Made Toys, touches on consumers and their growing concerns of imported products.

The article continues to state that Mattel will conduct an investigation into the procedures used with all
China products.

According to the Environmental Protection Agency web site, lead paint can cause many health issues, especially in children under six. Those health concerns can range from behavioral problems, seizures, and death.

Listed below are links to the official recalls. These links will give you specific items of what is being recalled and where to call to for specific instructions on how to either return or destroy your product.

I have also included a list of resource links so that you may learn more about lead poisoning.
