Go Baby!

inmatGetting your children active is something that parents can start on when their babies are well, just that- babies. And companies like Go Baby have recognized that by creating a versatile InMat, specifically designed for mommy-and-me work-outs, baby yoga and tummy-time. The InMat is designed to lay flat during exercise and won’t slip, slide or twist during babies every move.

I recently got my hands on the InMat and instantly fell in love. Not only is it ultra-plush for the baby, but machine washable for moms- making it an easy clean-up item. Our In-Mat goes everywhere with us and can do so easily. You can roll you InMat up tightly, with a magnetic closure and toss it right into the diaper bag, making it the perfect item for moms and babies on the go. We take our InMat to my daughter’s pediatrcian appointments with us, so that when she wants to play around on the floor, I do not have to worry about what she is laying on. I even had my husband bring our InMat up to the hospital when my daughter was admitted as a little extra cushioning in her bed. It truly is an amazing accessory that every parent should have.

For some great tips and ways to use your InMat, visit the Go Baby website. Here is a sneak peak at one of the tips their website gives:

Relieve Baby’s Ear Pain

Step 1) Place your pointer finger behind your baby’s earlobe while placing your thumb at the place where the earlobe attaches to the face. Pinch gently three times on each side holding the intention to relieve ear congestion.

Step 2) Hold baby’s foot in one hand and “caterpillar-walk” the thumb of your other hand in short, forward moving motion along the sole of the foot, just under the fourth toe to the base of the pinky toe, until you reach the outer edge of the foot. Repeat as you take five deep breaths.

Step 3) Hold baby’s hand in yours – palm up. With the thumb of your free hand, caterpillar-walk your thumb in the area just under the fourth finger to the base of the pinky finger, until you reach the outer edge of the hand. Repeat as you take five deep breaths. By applying the caterpillar-walk to specific ear points on the body we can help relieve ear pain.
