Cute Yummy Time by LaCarmina
La Carmina (Ca
rmen Yuen) has created an adorable cookbook for lunchboxes or eat at home cutie foods. These Pokemon type foodies are really adorable and get your kids to eat their vegetables, etc. without a fight. Heck, if they had this when I was a kid I would’ve done better eating veggies, too!
All the rage in Japan, kawaii (pronounced ka-why-ee – or all things cute) are inspiring not only food, but fashion! As La Carmina says, “If you are what you eat, you better be looking cute”, and she’s right.
So, this adorable Cute Yummy Time cookbook has over 70 recipes that are sure to get you and the children in your life off to the kitchen to prepare bento boxes, better known as lunch box foods.
And with that being said, off to the kitchen I went. We prepared Laughing Birds Egg Salad Wraps and devoured them, even if they were cute! Keeping in the theme of things with All Hallows’ Eve just around the corner, we made Evil Pumpkin Soup and it was truly delicious. The squiggly scary faces we made on the surface were fun and creative. There are five chapters ranging from Good Morning! to Sweet Treats and all manner of things in between.
La Carmina has hit on a great idea and you should check out this book! I give it 3+ stars.
