Busy Moms Can Save Time in 2010 with These Online Tools

According to Nielson Online, time spent on Facebook, the world’s most popular social-networking site has grown 566 percent from December 2007 to December 2008 and in September 2009, the average U.S. Internet user spent an estimated 68 hours a month online. And according to comScore, 5.5 percent of all time spent online in the U.S. during the month of November 2009 was spent on Facebook. Clearly, we’re all spending a lot more time online, and on Facebook. For savvy social networking moms looking to curb their time online and better organize their daily activities, here are some suggested online tools for the New Year:

RescueTime – Automagical time tracking & tools to help you focus (from light “nudges” to blocking for short periods of focus) and track project time.

TripIt – Email TripIt your travel plans and TripIt organizes your plans in a master travel itinerary that’s easy to share and access.

NutshellMail -   Manage and interact with all your social networks in one place: your most favored-email inbox. The connectivity tool saves you time by delivering snapshots of all your social networking activity in a single email digest on your schedule, and it empowers you to reply back into your social networks through email. Moms will also find it a great way to keep up with friends and monitor their children’s social activities online.

ShoeBoxed – Send receipts and business cards to ShoeBoxed in pre-paid envelopes, by  email, or with your mobile phone, and they’ll scan, data enter, and organize them for you. You’ll enjoy new levels of productivity and never lose a deduction or contact again.

Mint – Connect and manage your checking, savings, credit card, investment, loan, and retirement accounts. Mint also allows you to access all your balances and transactions together, on the web or your iPhone.

Each of these tools is designed to save all of us time and help us better organize our lives. For busy moms, we hope these will help them start the New Year off fresh, and give them additional hours to spend offline with family, friends and colleagues.
