Keeping Children Safe

Your childs’ safety should be one of the first things you think about as a parent, as I am sure it already is. Back in the baby boomer days, parents did not have the technological advances of today’s society to keep their children safe. And while it worked back then, I am glad to know that companies have a parents best interest in mind when creating the new gadget (as my grandmother calls them). Today, I will share with you three amazing devices to ensure safety.

babyalertFirst, we have the Toddler Smart Pad Safety Seat Monitoring System created by Child ‘Minder®. The safety seat monitoring system comes complete with a Toddler Smart Pad and key ring alarm unit. To use, you place the Toddler Smart Pad under the cushion of the child safety seat. Once your child is in their safety seat, the system becomes activated. If a parent/caregiver walks mroe than fifteen feet from the vehicle while the child remains in their safety seat, an alarm will sound within six seconds. Great device to help keep parents from leaving their children unattended in a motor vehicle.

cartstop

Next up is the Cart-Stopper. How many times have you been grocery shopping and tried to hold onto your cart with your foot, hip or a hand while trying to load groceries into your car? I know I have. I am always struggling to keep my cart close while unloading groceries. Even worse is when you have a child in the cart and obviously, who wants their child to go rolling away? Cart-Stopper helps prevent carts from running away, as the device suctions to your car and latches onto your cart. Definitely a must have!

cozytentLastly, we have the Crib tent. All Tots in Mind has created a perfect product for all parents- the crib tent. When my son began crawling out of his crib, we rushed right into the toddler bed in fear of him hurting himself. Once we heard about this product, we quickly reassembled his crib and have yet to look back. Not only does it prevent a child from wandering around the house unattended, but it helps prevent injury for limbs stuck between crib rungs and falling as they climb out of their crib. Children will also love the tent as it will help contain the objects they so often like to carry into bed with them!
